A dear nun and frequent customer of the Mustard Seed came into the store this month with generosity on her heart. She serves at nearby Barat College and she handed our store owner, Judy Kohl, an envelope with $200 in it. The story she shared with us was that one of her friends announced on Facebook that her birthday was coming up. As a result, she received a card with $100 to spend on herself and $100 to give away. The nun gave ALL of it to The Mustard Seed. She told Judy to donate the money to one of our wonderful partner organizations. Judy choose Life Builders Ministries at www.lifebuildersministries.org because they minister to widows and orphans who have been left destitute by the HIV/AIDS crisis in Nigeria. It is fun for us to share with you one of the heartwarming stories that we experience as volunteers at The Mustard Seed.
