Fashion Show Benefits the Spirit of 67 Foundation and the Lake Forest High School Foundation
The Mustard Seed was honored to participate in a community fashion show sponsored by Lake Forest Bank and Trust. We are grateful to Missy Burger for styling our lovely models and to Sue Harmon for dressing our models. We thank our models, Molly King and Terri Kreutzer, for representing our fashions so beautifully!
Molly King is wearing a 100% organic cotton color block poncho by Indigenous Fair Trade which is made in Peru and retails for $138. Indigenous is committed to fair trade partnerships with culturally diverse artisans. Her necklaces are both by designer Vicki Chignall and are handmade in Kenya. They feature handcrafted brass beads, polished horn beads, and crystal beads. The shorter pendant necklace is $225 and the rope necklace (which is shown wrapped twice around ) is $225.
Terri Kreutzer is wearing an Indigenous sweater coat in charcoal with a geometric pattern. It is made in Peru of 100% organic cotton and is $286. Note that conventional cotton is one of the most pesticide dependent crops, while cotton used by Indigenous is free of all pesticides. Her Fair Indigo t-shirt is also made in Peru of organic pima cotton with a hint of spandex to keep it’s shape and sells for $36. Terri has on a Sevya pleated silk scarf handmade in India for $48, the hammered cuff from India is $16 and her sterling silver hoop earring from Bali are $70.
