Black Soapstone dish

This small dish  is  hand carved out of stone, sanded until smooth, and dyed black.  Then an artisan uses a knife to etch the patterns into each dish. This sweet dish can be used to hold something delicate like earrings or a ring on your bedside table. For decorative use only; getting them wet could damage the dye.
