It tells the story of a program called Healing Hands of Joy which helps Ethiopian women deliver their babies safely. Many women in Ethiopia have long labors which can cause fistulas that they must live with for the rest of their lives. This program restores dignity to these mothers through a fairly simple and essential medical procedure and prevents fistulas in the first place through skilled delivery practices.
